CD15 is preferentially expressed on monocytes, mature neutrophils & all myeloid cells from promyelocyte stage onwards. It is an important marker for the diagnosis of classical Hodgkin disease non-lymphocyte predominance type (RS cells positive for CD15) and for characterization of Acute leukemia.
